Allen Evitts is a seasoned educator, consultant, and storyteller with over 25 years of experience in project management and 30 years in technology and education. Allen operates EssentialProjectManager.com, where he delivers customized training that integrates Waterfall, Agile, PMBoK, Prince2, ITIL, and AI-enhanced workflows. His expertise spans industries including IT, Construction, Telecommunications, Healthcare, HR, and Education. He’s worked with organizations such as AT&T, GE, Credit Suisse, Wells Fargo, Duke University, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
His skill set includes problem-solving, cybersecurity, marketing, public speaking, workflow analysis, content creation, and technical writing. He understands platforms like ERP, CRM, Cloud technologies, and AI—and wrote his first article about artificial intelligence over 40 years ago. In the past year, he’s focused on studying and teaching the capabilities of Microsoft Copilot, Google’s Gemini, and ChatGPT, helping professionals harness these tools for smarter decision-making and creative problem-solving.
Allen holds a master’s degree in communications from Georgia State University and a BA in Religion/Philosophy from Maryville College. He also pursued a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science at Emory University. His certifications include PMP (Project Management Institute), CC (IAC2), and SMC (ScrumStudy).
